About the Course
When you feel frustrated and find yourself going nowhere in managing your child’s emotional dysregulation, acting out or shutting down, have you ever wondered what is going on inside your child’s mind and body in those challenging moments? And what else you can do to help them calm down and change their behaviour?
In this workshop, we will look at children’s problematic behaviours through the lens as the child’s attempt to regulate their challenging emotional states; and how we, as parents or carers can become their external regulator to help shaping their regulation patterns.
We will learn some easy-to-implement strategies to become a more effective and attuned parent or carer.
